Kimberley WalkerI first visited the Potter's Studio during one of the Fall the Sales and became Interested in participating in classes.
Since becoming a member of the co-op in 2005, I've found that my work in interior design has influenced my approach to pottery. I lean towards hand-building and tend to plan out my pieces and enjoy intricate construction. The use of texture is also important in my work, particularly playing with combinations of patterns. I continue to learn by experimenting with different clay bodies and techniques. I love the focus that pottery requires, finding it to be a great escape and stress reliever. |
